GROUP
CLASSES

Pole Dancing

We begin each class with a Pilates based warm-up designed to increase flexibility and

strengthen the muscles we use to pole

dance. The warm-up will always be a

little different, which keeps your body

guessing and prevents "plateu-ing",

therefore allowing you to continue

experiencing the fitness benefits of pole

dancing: increased flexibility, muscle

tone and strength, improved coordination, stamina, endurance, and body awareness.

Once our bodies are warm and limber, we will

slip on our knee pads and stilettos and get

on the poles! Whether we're learning new

moves, working on our climbs, diving into

some floorwork, or perfecting a group

routine, you will always be offered

preps, modifications or alternate moves

based on your individual experience

level and ability.

(Level 1) PoleLite

Our Monday evening PoleLite class is specifically for beginners who have completed Pole 101 and students returning to pole after an extended hiatus or recovering from an injury, but students of any level can benefit from the material covered. This class will help you build strength and confidence at a pace manageable for all attending students. We will work on body awareness, various beginner friendly pole moves, floor work, spins, flourishes, fluidity and choreography.

Tuesday 6:30-8:00pm

(Intro Level) Pole Dancing 101

Pole Dancing 101 is a 4-Week Beginner Series for brand spankin' new students! We focus on the fundamentals of pole dance: pole safety, proper form, grip, technique, various basic pole moves, spins, poses, transitions & floorwork and how to strut in heels.

You will also learn a full length beginner friendly routine!

For more info, please visit our "Pole Dancing 101 For Beginners" page.

Thursday 6:30-8:00pm

(Level 4) Advanced

Our Thursday evening classes are advanced level classes. To ensure our students have a long and safe pole journey, certain prerequisites and instructor approval are required to attend. Attendees will learn a variety of pole tricks, aerial moves, and advanced choreography on static and spinner pole. We're excited to announce that Lauren Gordon has come onboard as our advanced instructor!

Friday 6:00-7:15pm

(Levels 1 & 2) Fundamentals

This Beginner Fundamentals class is open to levels 1 & 2 students who have completed our Pole 101 Series. In this class, we will work on beginner friendly exotic dance moves, transitions, poses, floor work, and spins as well as climbing and invert preps. We will break each move down, focusing on the proper grip, form and technique used for their safe execution. We will then create combos featuring these moves so that you can feel them in action.

Friday 7:45-9:00pm

(Levels 2 & 3) Beginner-Intermediate Choreo

This class is for students who feel that they have the strength, body awareness, confidence and experience necessary to attempt basic pole climbs and inverts. In this class we will work on these moves plus intermediate level floor work, spins, transitions as well as how to incorporate them into combos and routines. Students will have the opportunity to develop and hone their own unique pole dance style, dress up moves with flourishes and modifications and choreograph original combos and solo routines. We will also explore the awesomeness of spinner pole!

Sunday 6:00-7:15pm

(Levels 1 & 2) Beginner Choreo

This Beginner Choreo class is open to students levels 1 & 2 who have completed a Pole 101 Series. In this class, you will learn how to create fluid combos and routines by selecting and modifying transitions to seamlessly connect moves, draw from your repertoire of moves to find your freestyle flow, develop an alter ego/stage persona, and connect with and engage your audience when performing.

This is a great class for students who are interested in performing in any capacity, whether it be in one of our showcases or events or for that special someone.

Sunday 7:45-9:00pm

(Levels 2 & 3) Strength and Conditioning

This intermediate level class is designed to help students build the strength, flexibility, discipline and body awareness necessary to master intermediate level tricks.

Each class will begin with 30 minutes of strength and conditioning exercises targeting the core, glutes, legs, back, arms and shoulders.

We then turn our focus to a couple of moves such as Basic Invert, Straddle, Butterfly, Lay Back, Jasmine, Climbs, Pole Sits, Thigh Grips, or Leg Hangs. We will break each move down, identify the various muscle groups involved in their safe execution, and explore preps and modifications that will allow us to work up to these moves.

This is a great class for students who would like to meet the prerequisites required to attend our advanced level classes.
